VOC-per-gallon doesn’t determine what your plant actually emits. Usage does.
Low-VOC labels look compliant on paper, but total VOC load in HVAC and automotive manufacturing comes from how the chemistry behaves once the line is running. If a forming lubricant or brazing fluid requires higher concentrations, drifts faster, or leaves residue that forces extra cleanups and tank dumps, total emissions climb even when the SDS says “low-VOC.”
At CPI, our goal isn’t just low-VOC formulations. It’s low total VOC output. That comes from chemistries that burn off cleanly, stay stable across shifts, minimize residue, and perform consistently at lower usage rates. When the process uses less chemistry, emissions fall, regardless of VOC-per-gallon.
